The vampire population, and their followers, were offered a peace treaty of truce as a recognized nation of the world. The age-old adage to 'coexist' was the basis for this treaty. Now one man is left to choose. He had been to the island long before as a soldier, but this time he was taken captive. His wife, hidden, safe from a vampire raid in his small village. A pregnant woman kidnapped from just down the way from his home. Betrayers and manipulators surround him. He soon discovers that there are grander plans in the works. Plans that no one could have foreseen.
